Welcome to Boring EA (accessible at boringea.com). By accessing our website, purchasing our Expert Advisors (EAs), or using any related software and materials, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

1. Nature of Business & Software License

Boring EA operates strictly as an independent technology developer providing algorithmic trading software, indicators, and Expert Advisors for MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms. We provide software tools; we do not offer financial advice, investment management, or brokerage services.

Upon purchasing an Expert Advisor, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to execute the software on your personal MetaTrader terminals. You do not acquire ownership of the underlying software, source code, or intellectual property.

2. Intellectual Property & Prohibited Uses

All software, documentation, graphics, algorithms, and website contents are the proprietary intellectual property of Boring EA. You agree that you will not:

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or crack any Expert Advisor or binary file (.ex4, .ex5).
  • Distribute, resell, lease, sublicense, share, or upload the software to public or private forums, torrents, or file-sharing networks.
  • Bypass or attempt to bypass any account licensing or verification mechanisms.

Any violation will result in immediate termination of your license without refund and may subject you to civil and criminal liability.

3. Payments & Merchant of Record

Orders and payment processing on Boring EA are facilitated through our trusted Merchant of Record partner, Whop (whop.com). When making a purchase:

  • Whop acts as the Merchant of Record, processing transactions, handling card compliance, and collecting any applicable local sales taxes/VAT.
  • Payment methods accepted include major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and supported cryptocurrencies.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete billing information.

4. Disclaimers of Warranty & Trading Risk

All software is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Trading in foreign exchange (Forex), commodities, indices, and financial instruments involves substantial risk of capital loss. Past backtests or live track records are not indicative of future performance.

You assume sole and full responsibility for all trading activities, broker selections, leverage settings, and financial results executed using our software.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Boring EA, its founders, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software, including but not limited to trading losses, slippage, broker liquidation, or software errors.
